About the show
Women in Wild Places is a show about finding yourself in the places that push you. Host Gabriella DiGiovanni sits down with athletes, scientists, artists, and everyday adventurers to explore ambition, resilience, motherhood, fear, and the landscapes that shape us.
"Women find strength, clarity, and identity in the outdoors, and those places we love are worth protecting."— Gabriella DiGiovanni, host
Your host
Runner, climber, hiker, and yoga teacher who was born in Upstate New York. She's lived and worked in Alaska, Patagonia, and Colorado, and those landscapes have taught her the importance of finding her sense of self through the outdoors.
She launched Women in Wild Places because she wanted to build a community for women specifically who choose a bold life.
With 12 years of teaching yoga and a background in Cornell Outdoor Education, Gabby brings the same presence to every episode that she brings to every adventure: unhurried curiosity, and a genuine interest in the person across from her.
Women in Wild Places was recognized by Spotify as a 2025 Instant Hit in its very first year.
